Don & Kathy Sorochan Scholarship Fund

ICCLR & ISRCL

The Don & Kathy Sorochan Scholarship Fund honours the contributions that both Don and Kathy have made to the goals of criminal justice reform through their decades of service to ISRCL and ICCLR.

Donald and Kathy Sorochan are founding directors of the International Society for the Reform of Criminal Law (ISRCL) and the International Centre for Criminal Law Reform (ICCLR). This award has been established in their names in recognition of their many achievements to law and justice, nationally and internationally, and for the invaluable support they have given to the work and activities of both ISRCL and the ICCLR over the past twenty years.

The scholarship will be open to students at Simon Fraser University and the University of British Columbia, ICCLR’s two sponsoring universities, to be used to support the work of ICCLR in the areas of international criminal law, criminal law policy and criminal law reform.

ICCLR is currently accepting contributions to the scholarship fund, in recognition of Donald and Kathy’s extraordinary contributions to ISRCL and ICCLR. As a registered charitable organization in Canada (Registration Number: 0998641-21), ICCLR will issue charitable tax receipts to all contributors in Canada.
